Every police force in the country is using some form of facial recognition technology that enables them to ID and track any one of us. We urgently need safeguards to protect us from the abuse of this powerful tech.

We have been told that a public consultation will take place soon. Now is the time to have your say.

The police should be banned from using live facial recognition technology on the public. But at the very least, we need laws to ensure there are safeguards in place to monitor and protect its usage.
