We all deserve the right to protest safely
No matter our backgrounds, where we live, or who we vote for, we all want people in power to listen to our concerns and work to build a brighter future for all.
The Labour Government has resurrected a Conservative anti-protest plan that will strip fundamental rights away from countless people. Labour's Crime and Policing Bill is threatening to ban facial coverings at protests. Face coverings allow us to challenge injustice safely without fear of negative consequence for ourselves or our loved ones. We should all be able to choose how we protect ourselves freely when standing up for our rights.
It’s now up to all of us to make sure the Labour Government respects our right to protest safely.
