PROTECT THE RIGHT TO PROTEST SAFELY

The Government wants to make it a crime for protesters to wear face coverings at protests. Stand with us to protect everyone’s right to protest.

Over the past two years, the Government has given the police huge new powers to crack down on protests and arrest demonstrators.  

And now it even wants to make it a crime for protesters to cover their faces.  

For some people, wearing a mask is the only way to protest safely.  

From people who protest against the actions of other States but are terrified for the lives of their loved ones abroad, to people with serious medical conditions.

This is just another Government attempt to shut down the ways we can speak up and challenge the actions of those in power.
